I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I am proud to be one of the biggest supporters of South Dakota’s visitor industry. Our family chooses to take our vacations in the state of South Dakota. I know how wonderful the communities, attractions and accommodations are, and I will continue to support the efforts of the visitor industry.

The proven success of co-op partnerships will continue to put South Dakota on the map in a large way for our out-of-state guests. Efforts like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Rooster Rush promotion, Great Getaways, Giant Step and Digital Revolution are all beneficial ways to receive the biggest bang for your buck. I urge you to continue to pool your resources. I welcome and encourage ideas for new and innovative ways to tell the South Dakota story to others.

Together, let’s continue to lead the region by embracing new trends and tactics to get visitors into our state.

Thank you for your continued efforts in making South Dakota a great vacation destination. Let’s continue to showcase our land of Great Faces and Great Places to people across the world.
