Discover the National Treasures of South Dakota
When the film crew from Walt Disney Pictures began scouting locations for the upcoming sequel to National Treasure… they stumbled upon a treasure of their own. The crew originally planned to only shoot a portion of the film National Treasure: Book of Secrets at Mount Rushmore, but after seeing Sylvan Lake in Custer State Park, they extended their stay in South Dakota.
While on location in the Black Hills, the crew discovered the infinite variety of our landscapes and the Midwestern hospitality of our people. What will you discover in South Dakota? Explore the locations of National Treasure: Book of Secrets with affordable travel specials listed on our Web site.
