The site is part of the TravelSD.com website and is designed especially for
business-to-business marketers, such as group tour planners, travel agents
and meeting and convention planners. |

Native Discovery
Visitors can experience Native American cultural awareness in South Dakota
through a new program called Native Discovery. Tourism staff and others from
around South Dakota were invited to the pilot tour, which was held October

Shoulder Season
Inquiries High
This October interest in travel to South Dakota (inquiries) was higher than
the previous four-year average. Inquiries in October of 2007 were 52% higher
than October of 2006. With increased emphasis and targeted marketing of the
Hunting and Outdoor markets, the Office of Tourism has been able to
reinvigorate the previously flat shoulder season. For more information
