DIRECTOR'S REPORT
Dear Industry Partners,
With the cooler weather we’ve all been enjoying, we know the shoulder season is here! The Department of Game, Fish and Parks released their pheasant numbers for this fall’s hunting season and it looks to be a great year. The Rooster Rush promotion is in full swing; and, along with those communities who are hosting Rooster Rush events of their own, we’re excited to offer hunters a memorable experience once again.
Another exciting event is the annual Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park, which continues to grow in popularity. This and other fall events make this time of year a great time for visitors and for the industry.
Sincerely,
Melissa Miller |

What Our Visitors Are Saying...
An email response to Travelsmart:
"My husband, son, daughter-in-law, grand daughter and myself thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent in South Dakota this past July. We stopped at The Corn Palace, Chief Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore (just to name a few). The K Bar S Lodge was fantastic. We hope to visit again. I'd like to see the buffalo roundup, hopefully, next year. The travel planner was a big help. Thank you."
