Online Vacation Packages

Today's travelers are looking for the convenience of packaged vacations. This online promotion allows industry partners to promote vacation packages on Tourism's consumer website, www.TravelSD.com, for the low price of just $35 per package, for up to one year.  Packages are listed in a special section of the consumer website, which is just one click off the homepage. In addition, each time a user opens www.TravelSD.com, up to five randomly selected vacation packages are listed in the "Vacation Packages" section on the homepage.
 

Tourism uses a variety of advertising mediums to promote the packages including newspaper, television, e-mail and the Internet. Submitted packages must include at least one activity or event and at least one night of lodging. Partners price the package as well as determine a start and end dates and we do the rest.  Consumers contact partners directly to book the vacation packages. Registration for this promotion is accepted throughout the year.
