Great Getaways Newspaper InsertPeak SeasonThis spring/summer advertising tool is a newspaper insert that focuses on opportunities throughout South Dakota. Though previously only available to the central and eastern regions of the state, the insert will be available to businesses statewide in 2008. Open to 50 partners on a first come, first served basis. For the 2008 insert, the South Dakota Office of Tourism is producing a full-color, multi-page, magazine-style marketing piece for insertion into newspapers in Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The total circulation is 698,600 and will drop late April. For $500, partners receive a color photo and 40 words of copy (including phone number and e-mail and/or web address). If partners participate in the Vacation Package program, an icon will be added to their ad at no additional cost.

Season South Dakota is full of terrific vacation opportunities for visitors from nearby markets, and this co-op is a great chance to get your business in front of thousands of these potential visitors. Each partner receives 40 words of copy, including phone number, email and/or Web address and a color photo. To reserve a space each partner will need to fill out and send in the enclosed registration form along with a $400 check. Participation is limited to the first thirty-five partners, based upon receipt of payment and materials.
