Summer Marketing Campaign:
Efforts for
Peak Season are in Full Swing
As you review our peak season campaign efforts, you’ll notice
we are putting the 2010 Initiative into action. The 2010
Initiative calls for a change in the way tourism in South Dakota
is marketed, particularly by focusing new energy and investment
in expanding the peak season. With the support of Gov. Mike
Rounds, you, the visitor industry, have met his challenge,
invested your own marketing dollars and have become partners
with the Office of Tourism to stretch our collective dollars
further and take our unified message to identified target
audiences. Here’s how we are doing that this summer:
